The Importance of Having Good Friends

This week has been crazy, I feel like I never have time to do anything. I work, go to my class and work and sleep and then do it again, Not only have I decided that getting exercise is a good thing, but I have learned the importance of having good friends. Last week, I went with my 2 good friends, Heidi Martin and Shae Rendon to a dance, it was fun and I was glad that these 2 friends of mine were with me. When I am having a bad day, I can count on 3 People. Heavenly Father, My Family, and my Friends.

My dad used to tell me " Tell me who you are with, and I will tell you who you are" ---> What he meant is he people that you are around can either influence you for the good or for the better. Thanks Dad, for always instilling that inside my head.

I encourage you to read Alma 17:1-3 and THEN read this quote by Elder Perry, “Do you see what happened? They remained true and faithful to their friendship and lived up to the standards they hadset for each other. “

So, have good friends, stop trying to please everyone around you. Take care of yourself and your happiness and the fact that not everyone will love you are some things I have learned this week. Again, thanks fot stopping by :)

All my Love,

KIM :)
